Lock1.4.1

Opening Lock immediately triggers Android’s screen-lock function, turning the app itself into a direct shortcut for securing the device. Because the command runs when the app is launched, it suits moments when reaching a small dedicated utility is more convenient than using another screen-lock control. Its operation is deliberately confined to this single device-control action rather than broader system management.

Lock was created to work with the FAST launcher, where users can find it by searching for lk. That two-letter search isolates the app because its name contains both l and k, fitting a launcher workflow based on opening a specific application. It is intended for Android users who want a purpose-built launcher entry for locking the device quickly.

Version 1.4.1 is an open-source Android utility in the System Tools category, delivered as a Universal build. The FAST launcher workflow is central to how the app is meant to be used, with launching the matching entry serving as the lock command. Its narrow scope distinguishes it from general-purpose utilities by keeping the interaction focused on one immediate screen-lock shortcut.
