Markdown Editor2.1.0

Edit and style .md files directly on an Android device, giving mobile writers a practical way to create, read, and revise Markdown content away from a desktop. Formatting controls apply common elements such as bold text, italics, headings, and links without requiring every markup character to be entered manually. The editor is intended for people who work with Markdown notes, documentation, drafts, or other text files while using a phone or tablet.

Its preview renders JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, BMP, and WBMP images inside the document, so image references can be checked alongside the surrounding text. Links shown in the preview can be opened to move between related files or sources. Dual View Mode places the editor and preview together, while Single View Mode lets the user concentrate on either one.

Light Theme Mode and Dark Theme Mode change the interface to suit different viewing conditions. Built with Flutter, Markdown Editor runs on Android 7.0 and later and supports arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, and x86_64 architectures. The current version is 2.1.0.

Markdown Editor is open-source software in the Reading & Writing category, making it a fitting choice for Android users who need Markdown editing and document inspection during mobile work. Its combination of formatting controls, rendered image previews, selectable viewing layouts, and linked navigation distinguishes it from a plain text editor.
