matterircd

matterircd is open-source communication software for Linux. It allows an IRC client to connect to a local or remote Mattermost installation, or to Slack. This makes IRC clients an interface for accessing those communication services.

The software is configured through a file named matterircd.toml. On a Linux system using the Snap package, the file is placed in /var/snap/matterircd/common/. After changing the configuration, the service is restarted with snap restart matterircd.
