Capture notes, arrange them into nested outlines, and track tasks directly on your device with MinimaList, which stores everything in a local Room database. Its local-only approach keeps your information on the device without cloud storage, network connections, advertisements, or tracking, and it does not require an account or provide Google sign-in, app invites, or Google Play billing.

The editor presents content as rows that can be indented or outdented to show relationships, marked complete, and configured to complete child rows when a parent is completed. Groups of rows can be collapsed or expanded, while search covers the full collection of sublists.

Rows can carry reminders through Android’s AlarmManager, generating notifications at the chosen time and rescheduling them after a device reboot. JSON and plain-text files can be imported or exported, and a home-screen widget shows the current list; dark theme support and customizable accent colors adjust the interface.

Designed for people who keep notes, hierarchical lists, and tasks on a phone, MinimaList fits quick capture, structured planning, and reminder-based organization. The current version is 110 in the Reading & Writing category, supports Android 5.0 and later on Universal architecture, and is open-source. It introduces no user-facing changes, but removes the Android Gradle Plugin’s Dependency metadata signing block from release APKs so F-Droid’s reproducible-build check passes. The project resurrects the original app released on Google Play in 2018 as sublist by toadlyBroodle after that developer account was lost, with cloud-related components removed.
