MinimaList

MinimaList is an open-source Android application in the Reading & Writing category. It is designed for notes, nested outlines, and task tracking on the device. Its data is stored in a local Room database, and it does not require an account or cloud storage.

The editor organizes content as rows that can be indented or outdented to show relationships between items. Rows can be marked complete, and an optional setting can also complete child rows when their parent is completed. Groups of rows can be collapsed or expanded, while search covers the entire set of sublists. Each row can have a reminder managed through Android’s AlarmManager, with notifications at the scheduled time and rescheduling after a device reboot.

MinimaList can import and export JSON and plain-text files. A home-screen widget displays the current list, and the interface provides a dark theme with customizable accent colors. The application has no network connections, advertisements, Google sign-in, app invites, or Google Play billing.

In MirrorNest, MinimaList fits the Android Reading & Writing category as a local tool for users who want to manage notes, outlines, or tasks without an online account. The original application was released on Google Play in 2018 as sublist by toadlyBroodle and was later abandoned after the developer account was lost. MinimaList is a full resurrection of that original APK with cloud-related components removed. MirrorNest stores the official build directly on its own storage and scans it for malware before publishing.
