Read the cellular signal around you in real time to find better places for phone calls and mobile internet. MobiloSignal reports reception in dBm, a precise radio-power measurement that shows network conditions more clearly than the phone’s simplified signal bars.

The current reading remains visible in Android’s status bar and in a notification, so it can be monitored while another app is open. This helps assess locations for calls, mobile gaming, video uploads, streaming, and hotspot use without relying solely on the standard indicator. Comparing measurements between rooms, along a regular route, or near a planned hotspot position can reveal weak spots and stronger reception areas.

Readings below roughly -105 dBm may indicate that voice calls are becoming unstable, while online games can become unreliable below about -95 dBm. Upload-intensive tasks such as live streaming or sending large videos generally call for a stronger signal than approximately -90 dBm, and sustained readings near -110 dBm can help explain extra battery use from increased transmission power.

As an open-source System Tools utility, MobiloSignal is aimed at Android phone users who need to evaluate reception in everyday locations or while moving between them. Version 1.1 runs on Android 8.0 or later and uses Universal architecture.
