About

Keep photos and documents synchronized between your Linux desktop or laptop and a Nextcloud server, so your files remain current wherever you work. The client creates local synced folders that you can open with your usual file manager and desktop applications. Any file added, changed, or removed in those folders is correspondingly added, updated, or removed on the server and on every other connected device.

This suits people who move between computers, as well as teams that share files through a central Nextcloud workspace. It connects the desktop directly to Nextcloud Files, the platform’s self-hosted storage and synchronization service with collaboration features available through desktop, mobile, and web interfaces. By keeping the server under an organization’s control, Nextcloud supports private-cloud collaboration without sending data to third parties.

Nextcloud Desktop Client is open-source software published by Nextcloud GmbH for Linux systems. It works with a Nextcloud server and brings server-side files into ordinary desktop workflows rather than requiring a separate browser-based file routine. The current release is version 35.0.3.

Requires Linux + Flatpak · Architecture: x86_64, aarch64
