Notification Vault records Android notifications and toast messages, then lets you search, review, and manage that history after alerts disappear. It intercepts notification text and media locally, keeping logging offline with zero internet permissions so personal records remain on the device during capture. Notification strings and image attachments are protected at rest with AES-256-GCM encryption, while an app lock can require fingerprint, face unlock, or the device’s own credentials whenever the app pauses or resumes.

A Quick Settings tile switches recording on or off from the notification panel, and an accessibility service captures system-wide toast messages. Per-app rules and allow/block keyword lists can exclude unwanted alerts or narrow what gets retained. The app also automatically logs and previews image attachments from chats and other alerts, then supports encrypted database import and export with optional ZIP compression for media.

Notification Vault suits people who need a searchable record of one-time codes, messages, delivery updates, or other easily missed alerts, as well as anyone auditing notification patterns. Scheduled or manual encrypted backups can be sent to providers such as Google Drive and Nextcloud, while optional plaintext exports support other workflows. A dashboard presents logging-frequency trends and hourly charts, and its Material 3 interface includes a pitch-black AMOLED mode intended to reduce battery use.
