oxygen-cursors

oxygen-cursors adds the Oxygen cursor theme to a Linux desktop, giving applications a consistent KDE-style pointer appearance. It bundles both the oxygen-cursor-theme and oxygen-cursor-theme-extra collections, originally created for KDE 4. The available cursor designs come in numerous colors, so users can match them to different desktop styles or visual themes.

The theme can be assigned to an individual application or applied across all applications through the snap’s cursor-theme integration. Its snap must expose an icon-themes plug for the cursor resources to work correctly. The project preserves work from the original KDE cursor developers and the Kubuntu package maintainers, making it useful for KDE-oriented desktops and other Linux environments that support cursor themes.

This open-source System Tools package targets Linux systems running snapd and is built for x86_64 (amd64) hardware. The current version is 0.0.2012-06-kde4.8-2.1ubuntu1. Developers who build the snap locally can use Multipass as the build environment, while desktop users primarily use the packaged themes to customize application or system cursor presentation.
