About
Prevas Collector gathers data from industrial environments and sends it to the Prevas Cloud platform. Running on Linux, it reads industrial protocols such as Modbus TCP and OPC UA, supporting near real-time monitoring, process-trend analysis, hardware-condition tracking, and alarm visualization.
The collector runs as a persistent background service and restarts automatically after a failure. A Prevas Cloud subscription and a setup configuration file are required; the configuration can be applied with the enmac-collector.setup command.
Administrators can start, stop, or restart the service with standard snap commands and view or follow its logs with snap logs. Support for both amd64 servers and arm64 devices, including IoT gateways and Raspberry Pi systems, allows it to run across different industrial hardware.
