QuickNotes

QuickNotes is an open-source note-taking application for Android in the Reading & Writing category. It is designed for capturing, organizing, and reviewing text-based notes on Android devices. The app supports users who want to keep ideas and written material available for later reading or continued writing.

Users can search across note titles, note content, and tags to locate a particular idea without manually browsing every note. Tag-based filters can narrow the notes shown to selected topics or ideas. QuickNotes can optionally apply AI-powered tags when the user provides an OpenAI API key. Its Android focus places note capture and review within the platform where the application is installed. The open-source license allows QuickNotes to be used as an openly developed note tool without a purchase requirement. MirrorNest distributes the official build directly from its own storage and scans it for malware before publishing.
