reden0.1

reden provides the core cryptocurrency wallet used to work with Reden on its community-led blockchain. It is the official wallet software issued by Reden’s management team, making it relevant to Reden community members, development teams, and investors. Its scope is centered on participation in the Reden project rather than serving as a general-purpose wallet for unrelated cryptocurrencies.

Reden originated as Eden coin after its original developer abandoned that project and a new team took it over. The community describes Reden’s purpose as “De-Risking Alt-Coin,” with services intended to reduce the damage that scams and unprofessional teams can cause to legitimate development efforts and their investors. The wallet provides the official software interface for people involved in that community-led effort.

Version 0.1 runs on Linux with snapd and supports the x86_64 architecture, also known as amd64. Snap Quarantine distributes it as a snap package, and the package updates automatically. Users should back up their wallet.dat file before an update; it is normally stored at ~/snap/reden/common/. reden is released as open-source software, reflecting its place in an openly developed project rather than a proprietary application.
