RZR lets users fetch a project ZIP from GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket by entering its owner/repo identifier, then read the extracted code through an organized mobile interface. Its folder-and-file tree supports browsing, searching, and offline reading, making it practical to inspect projects away from a desktop. The in-app Zip Manager plugin handles ZIP archives and imports them into the reader.

The read-only editor runs Monaco through a WebView and provides syntax highlighting for more than 100 programming languages. Plugins let users tailor the editor and file explorer with options such as word wrap, a minimap, line numbers, and zoom. Once the relevant capability is enabled, RZR can instantly preview README and other Markdown files. It supports English plus 13 additional languages.

Designed for developers, students, and anyone reviewing source code on a phone, RZR is an open-source Reading & Writing application for Android, with version 0.6.9 currently available. It requires Android 7.0 or later on the arm64-v8a architecture, and retrieving project archives requires the INTERNET permission. RZR uses no tracking or analytics.
