Save on Device0.4.0

Select Save on Device in Android’s sharing interface to place a received file directly on the device. It supplies a dedicated save option when a compatible sharing flow passes a file to the Android Sharesheet. The result is a straightforward way to turn shared file data into a locally stored file.

The tool is intended for Android users who receive files through apps that support the system sharing flow and want to keep those files on their device. Its central capability is file saving, rather than editing, organizing, or processing the shared content. This focused behavior makes it useful when the sharing interface offers a file but the sending or receiving app does not provide the desired device-saving action.

Save on Device belongs to the System Tools category and uses an open-source license. Version 0.4.0 supports Android 6.0 and newer, with a Universal architecture intended for the supported Android environment. Its role is limited to adding the device-saving choice to the sharing process, so its use centers on selecting that option when a compatible file is shared.
