TaffyQSL

TaffyQSL is a free and open-source amateur radio logbook application for Android. It is designed for radio operators who need to record contacts, manage QSO information, and work with electronic QSL confirmation processes. The application uses the ADIF format for creating, editing, and exporting logbooks.

TaffyQSL supports QSO signing in workflows compatible with Logbook of the World, including direct uploads to LoTW and queries for confirmed QSLs. A natural-language QSO parser can help operators enter contact details more quickly. The application also provides support for satellite contacts and DXCC entities. Users can customize how dates and times are displayed, and the interface is available in English, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese.

The application follows a local-first approach in which log data, certificates, and private keys remain on the user's Android device. Certificates and private keys are protected through the Android Keystore, with hardware-backed protection when the device supports it, while encrypted backups are stored locally. TaffyQSL contains no telemetry or tracking.
