About
Create vector drawings and XY charts by clicking and dragging shapes, then refine them directly on the canvas. TdhCad lets you move, rotate, resize, or reshape entities by adjusting their points, while groups can contain both entities and other groups. It also supports paths made from straight lines and curves, copying and pasting complete entities or individual points between entities, and adding notes to any entity.
Users can set visual properties such as color, line width, and dash patterns, apply gradients to entities or groups, and work with any number of layers. Built-in features include snapping, shared points, arrows, FlipY, and automatic creation of grids, legends, and charts. XY charts can be placed anywhere in a drawing and annotated with CAD entities, which suits technical diagrams, plotted data, and graphics that combine measured information with explanatory marks. Calibrated raster images can serve as drawing backgrounds, helping users trace or document layouts against reference imagery.
Drawings can be exported as SVG, PNG, or PDF files and saved in project databases for later editing. TdhCad is freeware from Tim Hirrel in the Photo & Graphics category, intended for Linux systems using amd64 architecture and snapd. Current version 25.02.23 provides a launcher for all Ubuntu versions.
Requires Linux + snapd · Architecture: amd64
