About

Upstox Scalper gives Linux traders a desktop workspace for tracking market direction and acting on short-term scalping opportunities. It is designed for rapid decisions across changing and varied trends, rather than for general business management or broad office finance tasks. The application connects its trading focus with instruments available on NSE and BSE, including stocks, mutual funds, IPOs, equities, futures, options, commodities, and currencies.

Traders can use the Upstox environment to examine price movement through TradingView charts, display up to eight charts at once, apply more than 100 indicators, and mark setups with over 80 drawing tools. These capabilities let a user compare markets, study short-term patterns, and refine an entry or exit plan while conditions are moving quickly. Its focus on scalping makes it particularly relevant to active traders who need to respond to upward, downward, or changing market trends. The broader Upstox offering also supports SIP investing alongside its trading instruments, although Scalper is aimed at fast market activity.

Upstox publishes the commercial application for Linux systems with snapd, and it supports amd64 and arm64 architectures. Use is governed by Upstox’s commercial license terms, which should be reviewed before deployment. The current release is version 1.0.0, and the publisher is Upstox.
