vDinar2.2.1

vDinar lets people send and receive digital dinars directly across a decentralized payment network, without banks or other intermediaries. Designed for the former Yugoslav region, it provides an international digital payment bridge with very low transaction costs and accepts participants regardless of whether they are local or abroad.

Its wallet creates public addresses for receiving funds, sends dinars to other addresses, and automatically downloads and verifies the network’s transactions and account credits. The wallet does not have to remain running while funds are received, because active peers retain the relevant information until it reconnects; users should preserve their address passwords, which together with the addresses form their digital identity. The network’s ASIC-resistant mining algorithm both supports network security and produces new coins, with rewards issued approximately every two and a half minutes to users who contribute their devices.

This makes vDinar relevant to individuals and community projects seeking regional digital payments, as well as participants who want to mine or support the network.

Version 2.2.1 is open-source software by Andrea Grande for Linux, requiring snapd and an x86_64 (amd64) system. The wallet can be used from a computer or mobile device within the wider payment system, while this release targets the Linux desktop environment.
