voidstar casts files into colored two-dimensional or three-dimensional spaces, rendering them as shapes that you can inspect and navigate. Invoke it with one or more input files, then use its options to list available backends, select a user-interface mode, or choose the algorithm applied to the visualization. Window dimensions default to 800 by 600 pixels, while additional options start fullscreen, preserve the title bar and resizing controls, or terminate when the display finishes.

The A, W, S, D, Z, X keys and the mouse move through 3D space, and H and L switch among the supplied files. F toggles fullscreen, the arrow keys adjust and enlarge the sliding window, M moves that window to the end, and the greater-than and less-than keys change its movement speed. Space toggles rotation, O resets the camera, B changes the background color, and Escape exits. Command-line settings control the sliding-window length, the number of points moved per step, forward movement, and whether the shape spins; begin and end offsets define the file range, with an end value of zero extending to the file's end.

Artists and graphics-oriented experimenters can use it to explore file-derived structures as spatial, animated visuals rather than static text or conventional images. Its combination of selectable rendering backends, algorithms, camera movement, color changes, and point-window navigation makes it suited to interactive visual investigations and demonstrations.
