Voxel Paint Pro1.2.3

Construct three-dimensional voxel scenes by placing solid, shaded nodes, removing them, and changing the texture or colour of the node under the pointer. Voxel Paint Pro is an open-source Linux graphics-design program from James William Fletcher, aimed at keyboard-and-mouse editing of voxel-style arrangements in an interactive 3D space.

Clicking the game window captures the mouse and Escape releases it; W, A, S, and D move along the relative X and Y directions, while Space and Left Shift move along relative Z. Left Click or Right Shift places a node, Right Click or Right Control removes one, Tab switches between the colour palette and the last position, and Q, Middle Click, or Mouse4 clones the pointed node’s texture while E or Mouse5 replaces it. Dragging with Middle Mouse, Mouse4, or Q selects nodes, after which V copies the selection to the pointed position, T copies it through 24 rotations, and Y projects it forward as an array across 24 rotations.

B fills selected nodes with the chosen colour, N deletes them, R places a node at the current position, F enables fast movement, and keys 1 through 7 select its movement speed. G toggles gravity, P locks pitch, F1 restores the default environment, and the arrow keys move the view. F3 saves the current state, F8 restores the last save while discarding later work, exiting saves automatically, and an inactivity backup is created after three minutes.

Version 1.2.3 runs on Linux with snapd on x86_64 (amd64) systems. Mouse sensitivity can be passed as the first command-line argument, using 0.003 by default, such as ./voxelpaintpro 0.003.
