witchcraft maps open local connections, scans a specified target’s ports, and searches for metadata across more than 1,000 sites from one Linux toolkit. Its map.local module reveals local connection relationships, while map.default performs a default port scan against a target you provide. The search.meta module is suited to broad keyword investigations that span many online sources.

Its spellbook package adds the moth and ladybug wordlists, a default credentials database, IP geolocation and reputation data, and a MAC-address vendor database. It also supplies social-media pages for Evil Twin attacks, directory and subdomain wordlists, a usernames wordlist, and an XSS wordlist, giving security work and testing tasks supporting reference material alongside its active modules.

Security operators, penetration testers, and other netrunner-oriented Linux users can use it for connection analysis, reconnaissance, target scanning, metadata research, and wordlist-assisted testing. Casssandra Lovelace publishes witchcraft as an open-source Security & Privacy toolkit, combining operational commands with a curated collection of security resources instead of limiting the project to a single scanning function.

The current release is version 0.34.10 and requires Linux with snapd on x86_64 (amd64) architecture. Linux users can install it through a GitHub release, use the Snap package, or build it from source.
