Yandex Search26.61

Yandex Search lets users find information and handle everyday tasks through text, voice, and images from one Android app. Queries can be entered in the search bar, selected from suggested searches, or spoken to Alice instead of typed.

The Smart Camera identifies objects, explains what they are, points to places that sell them, translates visible text, opens QR codes, and functions as a scanner. Alice answers questions, sets timers and reminders, reports weather and traffic, tells children stories or plays songs, controls smart home devices, and chats with the user. Caller identification recognizes unknown numbers through a database covering more than five million organizations, supplemented by user feedback.

For shopping, a request to Alice about where a product costs less triggers comparisons across marketplaces, supermarkets, and nearby stores. Weather tools combine an hourly forecast for the current day with daily and weekly outlooks and a changing map for precipitation, wind, temperature, and atmospheric pressure. These capabilities suit people who want search, assistance, caller information, shopping comparisons, and practical updates in common situations.

Current version 26.61 fixes internal application bugs and is intended to provide faster, better operation.

Free to use — a paid version with additional features is also available.
