Activity Manager lets you discover activities provided by installed Android applications, launch them directly, and create shortcuts for frequently used entries. It gives developers and advanced users a practical way to inspect application components and try parts of the Android app environment that are not exposed through normal interfaces. Non-exported activities can be started with root access or, in a rootless setup, through Shizuku.

Its shortcut editor connects a chosen activity to a user-defined entry and lets you assign an icon from device storage or from the built-in Material collection. Intent Builder creates and starts custom intents, while the application-details viewer exposes information recorded by an app for closer examination. Light and dark themes are available for different viewing preferences.

The software suits Android developers, testers, power users, and anyone investigating how installed applications expose their activities and intents. It can be useful when testing component behavior, making direct shortcuts to hidden screens, or exploring an app’s recorded configuration.

Version 5.5.2 adds an extended settings screen and can export an intent as a shell command, while also supporting Shizuku-based launching of non-exported activities and root-based intent launching. Activity Manager is open-source under the Apache License 2.0, runs on Android 6.0 or newer, and supports arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86_64, and x86 devices; it is also available through F-Droid.
