Aiyo lets Android users send messages to an AI model of their choice through OpenRouter while supplying their own API key. It acts as a lightweight chat client, routing conversations to OpenRouter API endpoints rather than hosting the models itself. OpenRouter gives the app access to more than 500 model options, so users can select different models for coding, research, or general conversation.

The app supports model reasoning and web search, and it keeps chat history available for returning to earlier discussions. It is intended for Android users who want to compare or use multiple AI models from one interface, particularly developers and technically minded users who already have an OpenRouter API key. Aiyo requires Android 7.0 or later, also known as API level 24, and supports arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86_64, and x86 devices.

Aiyo does not collect information or make data calls itself, though OpenRouter or the selected model provider may collect information under their own practices, for which Aiyo accepts no responsibility. The open-source license lets users inspect the code, contribute to it, or build the app themselves from code published on GitHub. Version 1.0.9 fixes table content overflowing its available space and adjusts the corner radius of the theme-selection pill.
