Audio Output Switcher1.0.10

Audio Output Switcher places Android’s audio output selector behind a Quick Settings tile, letting you move playback between available devices with a tap. It is aimed at people who frequently change audio between headphones, speakers, and Bluetooth devices without searching through system settings. Instead of providing its own device picker, the app opens Android’s native media output selection dialog, including the system MediaOutputDialog.

To access the control, swipe down twice from the status bar to open Quick Settings, then use the tile editor to add Audio Output. Tapping that tile opens the native dialog, where connected headphones, speakers, and Bluetooth audio devices can be chosen. Long-pressing the tile opens Android’s volume panel for another route to sound controls.

The app follows Android’s built-in Quick Settings workflow and operates without background battery usage. Version 1.0.10 adds a Volume Panel Quick Settings tile for direct access to volume controls, and the Audio Output and Volume Panel tiles can be used independently or together. Audio Output Switcher requires Android 11 or later, uses Universal architecture, is open-source software, and belongs to the Video & Media Players category.
