OMGSoundboard

OMGSoundboard is an open-source Android application for organizing and playing short audio clips through custom soundboards. It is intended for people who use sound effects, memes, and other personal audio in conversations or everyday situations. The app works offline, so its core soundboard functions do not depend on an internet connection.

Users can create as many soundboards as they need and import sounds of their choice. Each sound can be controlled by selecting where playback starts and stops, while multiple sounds can play at the same time for layered combinations. Effects can be added to sounds, and favorites can be saved as bookmarks for quicker access. A built-in backup helps preserve the user’s sound collection.

OMGSoundboard includes search with word filtering, which helps locate clips in a larger collection. Sounds can be shared through applications and services that support sharing, including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, and social networks. The app can assign selected sounds as ringtones, alarms, or notification sounds. It also supports Wear OS by Google smartwatches, extending its Android use to compatible wearable devices.

As a Multimedia app, OMGSoundboard focuses on managing and using audio rather than supplying a large fixed sound catalog. Only a limited set of sounds is included by default because of copyright considerations, making imported audio central to building a personal collection. The app includes no ads and no trackers.
