AWA1.5.7

AWA streams music on a Mac through a service designed for macOS, giving listeners desktop access to online music playback. It is suited to personal listening at a desk, at home, or anywhere a Mac is used for music.

The service offers Free and Standard plans with different usage limits. Its published comparison lists Free as 200 songs / 8 songs and Standard as 1,000 songs / 1,000 songs, while Standard billing is available monthly or annually through AWA and through the App Store or Google Play Store.

AWA’s distinctive social feature is Lounge, an online space where people gather in the same room, listen to music together, and chat in real time. Lounge programming has included the first-stage results of an R Sound Design song-provision audition, an ONE N’ ONLY listening party celebrating the release of Golden Sun, and a Novel Core event marking PERFECTLY DEFECTiVE TOUR 2026 (Live at 豊洲PIT 2026.6.26).

Wear OS by Google is also supported for extending the listening experience beyond the Mac. The current version is 1.5.7 and runs on both Intel and Apple Silicon processors. AWA is freeware in the Music & Audio category, making it a straightforward choice for Mac listeners who want streaming plus shared listening spaces.
