Animated dots and music give a young baby a visual and musical activity intended to soothe and calm. Baby Dots presents moving dots that children can watch and, when appropriate, touch on the screen. Caregivers may introduce it at about 10 weeks and continue using it at around eight months, although children can respond differently.

An adult chooses when the activity fits the child and the situation, keeping its use supervised rather than handing over unrestricted control. For children old enough to touch independently, the built-in child lock lets small fingers interact with the dots while keeping the activity controlled and reducing unintended changes. This suits short, caregiver-guided calming sessions or touch-based screen activities for young children.

Baby Dots is an open-source Android app in the Video & Media Players category, and version 1.10.0 requires Android 5.1 or later on Universal architecture. The current release adds a heart shape, brings Tamil translation support, and updates existing translations. It also refreshes the app’s dependencies and targets the latest Android version.
