Biometric Bypass2.0.2

Biometric Bypass automatically accepts the confirmation prompt that normally appears after face unlock, taking the user directly into the unlocked session. It is an Xposed module that hooks Android System UI and simulates the required tap instead of asking for manual confirmation. The system-wide bypass applies across apps, including banking and other security-sensitive software, regardless of how each app implements its biometric flow.

Android 10 (API 29) introduced passive biometric authentication through the BiometricPrompt setConfirmationRequired(false) flag, but apps must request that behavior and use a Class 3, or strong, biometric such as secure face unlock on Pixel 8 or newer devices. Biometric Bypass removes the System UI dialog directly, covering apps that omit the flag and components that continue enforcing confirmation. An Xposed manager applies the module to System UI, allowing it to affect all biometric flows rather than only selected applications.

It suits people who use face unlock and want to remove the extra tap, but skipping confirmation reduces protection: someone could gain access by spoofing the user’s face or presenting the phone while the owner is asleep. It requires Android 10 or newer, an Xposed framework with libxposed API 101 support such as recent LSPosed, and an AOSP-based or close-to-stock ROM. Pixel devices and similar systems are supported, while heavily modified OEM software such as MIUI or One UI may not work.

Biometric Bypass is open-source System Tools software with Universal architecture. Version 2.0.2 adds support for Android 17 QPR2 Beta 4.
