Bome Network connects computers, mobile devices, and MIDI hardware so MIDI data can travel across an Ethernet or Wi-Fi network. Its integrated MIDI Router lets you decide how messages move between the devices and applications in the setup. Connections remain persistent and reconnect automatically after a restart, supporting dependable low-latency performance.

On macOS, the software can connect to one or more BomeBoxes and let any MIDI application send data to or receive data from them. Remote Direct MIDI can forward selected MIDI devices, or all available devices, from a BomeBox, while the world icon opens that unit’s web configuration interface. The broader product supports macOS, Windows, Linux, Raspberry Pi, and iOS, with the Mac build supporting Intel and Apple Silicon.

Bome Network Pro adds computer-to-computer MIDI links among Macs, PCs, iPhones, and iPads; compatible devices are discovered automatically, and a single click connects the systems you choose. It also exposes virtual MIDI ports and physical devices on remote computers or mobile devices as if they were local, while the freeware base software covers BomeBox networking.

Bome MIDI Translator BN runs MIDI Translator Pro project files through local and network MIDI ports on macOS, Windows, Linux, Raspberry Pi, iPhone, and iPad, but creating or editing those projects requires Bome MIDI Translator Pro. The Unlimited Named MIDI Ports add-on creates custom virtual ports in any quantity and makes them available in Bome Network MIDI Route; version 1.7.0 is offered for MacOS under a freeware license.
