CoverLoad2.4.2-802

CoverLoad retrieves high-quality artwork for movie titles, music albums, and other media, giving collections a way to replace blank or unattractive cover images. It provides quick access to thousands of covers spanning audiobooks, ebooks, movies, music, podcasts, software, and television shows. Its lookup work is tied to the iTunes Search API, including a function aimed at finding iTunes covers that are missing from a library.

For music users, the retrieved album art can be added in iTunes to refresh an existing collection, where recognizable artwork helps identify albums visually. Kid3 and Subler are suggested as companion applications for embedding artwork in music or movie files. The selection includes both historically notable album covers and current movie artwork, so it serves collection maintenance as well as new additions.

Designed for MacOS users working with visual media, CoverLoad is freeware and runs on Intel and Apple Silicon Macs. The current version is 2.4.2-802. The developer describes the current work as a new test build involving the iTunes Search API, which is especially relevant to its cover-search behavior.
