Cozy1.3.0

Cozy gathers DRM-free audiobooks into a single library so listeners can open a book and continue from the point where they stopped. It accepts MP3, M4B, M4A, AAC, ALAC, FLAC, OGG, and WAV files, keeping books organized as individual works rather than as a generic audio queue. Playback includes a sleep timer and adjustable speed, with the speed setting saved separately for each book.

Users can add new books by dragging them into the library, search the collection, and sort it by author, reader, or title. Multiple storage locations are supported, including external drives and network drives, which suits collections spread across different locations. Offline Mode keeps a selected book on internal storage for listening away from the locations holding the main collection.

It is aimed at people with personal DRM-free audiobook collections, especially listeners who want book-centered organization at home or while traveling. Cozy runs on Linux and requires snapd; version 1.3.0 is available for x86_64 (amd64) systems. Developed by Soumyadeep Ghosh, it is open-source software in the Music & Audio category, distinguished by combining per-book playback memory and speed controls with storage-aware offline listening.
