About
CPod lets listeners search for programs, subscribe to them, and play episodes from a desktop interface designed for straightforward podcast management. Its clean presentation also gives people a focused way to discover new shows alongside the subscriptions they already follow.
Episodes can be placed into playlists, allowing listening queues to be arranged around a commute, a series, or another routine. Filters based on episode duration and release date help narrow a feed when there are more installments than the listener has time to browse. Subscription collections can be imported from or exported to OPML, making it practical to move podcast data between compatible applications.
Built with Electron, CPod runs on Linux and is published by Snapcrafters under a commercial license. The current 1.28.2 release requires Linux with snapd and is provided for amd64 architecture. It belongs to the Music & Audio category as a focused player and organizer for podcast listeners.
CPod is unmaintained, so users should account for possible bugs or security vulnerabilities and consider alternatives for an actively supported application. Although the Snap package is maintained by the Snapcrafters community, that maintenance does not necessarily represent endorsement or official maintenance by CPod’s developers.
Requires Linux + snapd · Architecture: amd64
