UltraStar WorldParty21.02

Let up to six people sing along to music on a Linux computer, using microphones and receiving individual scores for pitch accuracy and rhythmic timing. Players can perform together or take turns, making UltraStar WorldParty a practical centerpiece for group karaoke sessions.

Songs are arranged through song folders and playlists, with the Snap setup keeping its configuration file, default song directory, and playlist directory under ~/snap/ultrastar-worldparty/current/.ultrastar-worldparty. The SongDir1 setting in config.ini adds further music locations, including home-directory paths and mounted folders such as /media on Ubuntu distributions. USB and Bluetooth devices can provide microphones, gamepads, joysticks, or keyboards.

A webcam can replace the original song video with the current singer’s image as the background. Network access connects the game with UltraStar España to obtain songs and submit scores, while that team also supplies songs, information, and assistance through its online resources. GitHub carries development material, and users can raise support questions or report errors through the project forum or GitHub.

TeLiXj publishes this open-source project as version 21.02 for Linux systems using snapd on x86_64 (amd64) hardware. When an error displays unreadable characters, running snap run ultrastar-worldparty-debug produces a human-readable diagnostic message.
