Turn written prompts into Stable Diffusion artwork on your Mac, then refine the result with DiffusionBee’s local AI tools. It generates images from text, changes existing pictures according to prompts, and produces alternative versions for comparison. Prompts, models, and output images remain on the computer because processing runs fully offline rather than in the cloud.

Its integrated toolkit can add or remove objects in selected regions, create animations and videos, upscale and sharpen images, and use control images to follow a requested structure. An AI canvas combines typed prompts with hand-drawn input, while illusion-making tools support more experimental compositions. You can train custom image-generation models on your own pictures in a few clicks, including models aimed at particular objects, people, or visual styles.

For artists, designers, and hobbyists, typical uses include concept development, selective image edits, motion experiments, controlled compositions, and models tailored to a person, object, or style. On an 8GB M1 MacBook Air, image generation takes about 30 seconds, with higher-specification computers producing results faster. Generated images can be used freely under the CreativeML Open RAIL-M license, and the program itself is freeware.

Version 2.5.3 runs on macOS 13 Ventura or later, with macOS 13.1 or later given as the developer’s minimum, and is built for Apple Silicon (arm64). Apple silicon is recommended; Intel Macs are supported too, but generation is much slower without a dedicated graphics chip.
