digiexam26.3.17

digiexam lets schools run secure assessments inside the learning management system (LMS) that students already use, keeping the exam in the LMS instead of sending them to a separate browser. Its Digiexam Lockdown layer can be applied to the LMS with one click, controlling the device throughout an assignment, quiz, or exam. This helps prevent access to AI tools and other unauthorized resources while students work.

Administrators define exactly what students may access, including websites, applications, and specific resources. Teachers create and configure their exams directly in the LMS, choosing the permitted resources for each assessment. Students then start their secure assessments in that same LMS environment. Digiexam can also manage the full exam process, from creating and delivering an assessment through grading it, rather than limiting schools to the exam-taking stage.

The software suits schools, colleges, and other education providers whose administrators need controlled testing and whose teachers already work in an LMS. It is available as freeware for macOS in the Education category, with current version 26.3.17 requiring macOS 12 Monterey or later. On supported Macs, it runs on both Intel and Apple Silicon architecture. Guided onboarding from the Digiexam team is available for organizations exploring the Lockdown workflow.
