dilyn-immich2.6.3

Run a high-performance, self-hosted Immich service to organize and manage photos and videos on your own system. Published by Dilyn Corner, dilyn-immich is an open-source Linux package in the Video & Media Players category, currently at version v2.6.3. It suits people who want Immich’s photo and video management capabilities under their own control instead of depending on a larger cloud service.

The package provides the Immich service while keeping its supporting infrastructure in separate snaps. Its intended arrangement uses an HTTP server, data store, database, and graphics libraries, with caddy, dilyn-valkey, dilyn-postgresql, and dilyn-jellyfin-ffmpeg serving as the canonical companion snaps. Giving each dependency its own snap separates the main service from the infrastructure it relies on. With those components configured, the deployment is intended to work out of the box.

Immich serves clients on port 3001 by default, making the library reachable from devices on a local network or, when configured accordingly, from the broader internet. The PostgreSQL snap handles the service database, while the graphics libraries snap supplies graphical processing support. The package requires snapd and is intended for Ubuntu Core on x86_64 (amd64) systems. Although it is based on the Immich build, dilyn-immich is unaffiliated with the official upstream project.
