DNG Processor5

DNG Processor turns newly captured DNG photographs into JPEG files on an Android device, removing the need to start each conversion manually. It can process RAW images produced by the device’s original camera application or by another camera app that supports RAW capture. After a new RAW file appears, the app waits for it and begins conversion in the background.

Processing uses the phone’s GPU and may take up to a few seconds for each image. The resulting JPEG files are saved in the device’s /DCIM/Processed folder, providing a consistent place to find the processed photos. This workflow suits Android photographers who want the convenience of automatic JPEG creation while still capturing photographs in RAW.

DNG Processor is available for Android 7.0 and later, with Universal architecture support, and the current version is 5. It is open-source software for Android users handling RAW photographs from mobile camera apps. As a member of the Video & Media Players category, it focuses specifically on moving DNG images into a more widely usable JPEG format.
