Easydict2.23.0

Easydict lets you look up words and translate text from a concise macOS interface, with automatic recognition of the language being processed. It works out of the box for typed translation, selected-text translation, and translation from an OCR screenshot. You can trigger selection with the mouse and a keyboard shortcut, while silent screenshot OCR handles recognition without interrupting your workflow.

Results can be gathered from multiple services at the same time, making the app useful for comparing dictionary entries, machine translations, and AI responses. Supported options include Youdao, Apple Dictionary, Apple Translate, OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, DeepSeek, Ollama, Claude Code, Codex CLI, DeepL, Google, Bing, Tencent, Baidu, Alibaba, Xiaoniu, Caiyun, and Volcengine, along with MDict and other dictionary, translation, AI, local-model, and CLI services exceeding 20 in total. Multiple text-to-speech voice services are available, and the translator offers 52 selectable languages.

Students, language learners, researchers, and anyone reading material in another language can use Easydict for quick word checks, paragraph translation, or text captured from an image. It runs on macOS 13 Ventura or later and supports both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs. Easydict is freeware, and the current version is 2.23.0.
