Convert PNG artwork into ICNS files for application icons or ICO files for other icon workflows with Elephicon, running on Apple Silicon (arm64) systems with macOS 13 Ventura or later. It turns an existing raster image into the icon format required by the project receiving it. The process is aimed at people who already have suitable PNG artwork and need a dedicated icon file rather than another image copy.
A designer can use it to prepare visual resources, while a developer can create an icon asset from artwork already in a project. ICNS and ICO provide distinct formats for projects that call for one or the other, so the intended output can be chosen according to the receiving application or workflow.
