flutter-folio is an open-source scrapbooking application in the Graphics & Design category. It is designed to support the way people create and view scrapbooks across different devices, with a Linux version intended for desktop use. The project was created by gskinner in collaboration with the Flutter Team for Flutter Engage 2021.
On Linux, users can create and edit scrapbooks using photos they have already uploaded or by adding new photos. Each scrapbook can be customized with text and emojis. Photos can also be collected through the mobile app for use in a scrapbook. Completed scrapbooks can be shared through a web link, allowing friends and family to view them without installing the app.
MirrorNest distributes the official Linux build directly from its own storage. Each mirrored build is scanned for malware before publication. As an open-source project, flutter-folio fits the Linux software ecosystem while also demonstrating how Flutter can support platform-specific experiences.
