About

GlyphPort is an open-source Android application for moving Glyph Compositions from one Nothing® phone to another. It provides a simple interface for transferring compositions between compatible devices. The app is intended for people changing to a new Nothing® phone or sharing their own compositions with friends.

Its main purpose is to support the transfer and sharing of user-created Glyph Compositions. The process takes place completely offline on the device. This means the app’s stated use does not require an online service to handle the compositions.

GlyphPort is free to use, and its open-source license allows the software to be distributed as open-source code. These qualities make it suitable for users who want an offline tool without a purchase requirement. The interface is designed to keep the transfer process straightforward rather than adding unrelated functions.

In the MirrorNest catalog, GlyphPort is listed for Android in the Video & Media Players category. MirrorNest stores the official build directly on its own storage and scans it for malware before publishing it. This distribution provides a direct catalog copy of the official Android build while preserving its open-source status.

Requires Android 12+

• Reduce app size again by about 86% by re-enabling app minification and resource shrinking. • Adjust app colors to use yellow instead of red for the second outline color. • Explicitly throw an exception when the screen title can not be resolved, instead of silently failing by showing an empty title.

App permissions
