Gradia

Gradia is an open-source Linux application for preparing screenshots and other images for sharing. It is suited to quick exchanges with friends or colleagues as well as more polished image sharing. Its tools help adapt an image’s appearance and dimensions before it is distributed.

Users can add an optional image or gradient background behind an image. Aspect-ratio and padding controls help fit screenshots to different platforms. Gradia includes ten annotation modes, including text, arrows, and censoring tools.

The application supports multiple ways to import and export screenshots. A quick upload button can send images to services such as Imgur. On GNOME, users can assign a custom keyboard shortcut that runs gradia --screenshot=INTERACTIVE to start an interactive screenshot.
