Send files from any Android app to a chosen HTTP upload server by selecting Hupl in the system share menu, then retain the resulting link for sharing. Hupl addresses the need to move a file to a simple file host without switching to a separate browser-based workflow. It works with most hosts that accept uploads through HTTP POST requests and can target any servers you configure. Multiple server profiles support custom parameters, while preconfigured uploader profiles for popular services are imported on first launch.

An optional image step resizes or compresses pictures before transmission. Hupl records uploaded files and their resulting links in a local history, and stores host configurations on the device. Configurations can be exported or imported as JSON, either by pasting a URL into the relevant menu or by opening a link to a .json or .hupl file. The app suits Android users who regularly share files from other apps and want repeatable upload destinations.

Version 2.3.13 is open-source Android software in the Developer Tools category, requires Android 7.0 or later, and uses a universal build. HTTP is currently the only uploader type; more complicated HTTP workflows and (S)FTP are outside its present support. Hupl includes no tracking, ads, or accounts, and sends third parties only the files explicitly selected for upload. Swiping Hupl’s main activity away from recent apps can clear finished-upload notifications, although it does not cancel ongoing uploads, which remain recorded in history.
