Kill Camera1.0

Stops camera-related processes so a stalled camera service has a chance to recover without restarting the device. Kill Camera addresses the familiar “Can’t connect to camera” message and similar failures that prevent the camera from opening or connecting. Its interface centers on a KILL button, which you tap when the camera becomes unresponsive to terminate the related process.

After the camera service is stopped, Android should restart it automatically, restoring the service without a device reboot. This gives you a way to try taking a photo immediately instead of losing the opportunity while waiting through a restart. It is suited to Android phones whose camera suddenly fails during everyday photography or other situations where access is time-sensitive.

Kill Camera requires root access because it directly kills camera processes. It is open-source software for Android in the Video & Media Players category, and its Universal architecture supports the applicable device builds. The current version is 1.0.
