KnightStalker connects to Stalker middleware portals and streams IPTV content, bringing live television and on-demand viewing into one player. Live channels include an Electronic Program Guide, while the VOD section supports browsing and playback of movies. Search covers both channels and movies, helping viewers find content without navigating each section separately.

Users can mark channels as favorites and keep watch history with resume playback for unfinished programs. Picture-in-Picture, portrait and landscape orientations, media downloads, and a dark Material Design 3 interface support different viewing habits. Multiple portal profiles are supported, with automatic probing to resolve portal URLs, and the leanback launcher provides compatibility with Android TV devices.

As a Video & Media Player, it suits IPTV viewers using televisions, phones, or tablets for scheduled channels and on-demand playback. A valid portal URL and MAC address supplied by the IPTV provider are required to connect to content. The open-source client includes no tracking, analytics, or advertisements.

Version 1.3.0 runs on Android 7.0 or later with Universal architecture and improves playback stability, including a fix for out-of-memory crashes during high-bitrate streams. Brief network stalls no longer terminate the player, and genuinely failed streams now show a retry option; the update also makes D-pad seeking reliable and displays movie titles in watch history. Startup indexing now processes only new content, while a full rebuild remains available in Settings.
