LiveFaceSwap AI0.2.17

Transform live webcam footage into an AI-generated face, outfit, or visual style that changes as you move. Published by its namesake developer, LiveFaceSwap AI is commercial desktop software for Linux. It addresses the need to preview identity, clothing, and character concepts directly in a camera feed instead of preparing still images first.

Face Swap places an authorized face reference in the live view, Live Try-On applies outfit references, and Live Restyle turns the scene into another visual style or character appearance. Choose a camera, an authorized reference image or built-in preset, and an AI model, then change effects, models, and references from the same workspace. Separate previews show both the original camera input and the processed result, while the selected model’s credit rate appears before a session begins. Cloud processing handles the AI work, and real-time sessions consume credits at the displayed rate.

The software suits creators testing looks, presenters exploring on-camera identities, and people prototyping live visual concepts with a webcam. Sign-in and internet access are required, and it runs with snapd on amd64 Linux systems; the current version is 0.2.17. A dedicated GPU and local model download are not required because processing takes place in the cloud. On Linux, generated output stays inside the app, so it cannot yet act as a virtual camera source for OBS, Zoom, or other programs.
