maas-test-db supplies the PostgreSQL server that the MAAS snap uses for testing. It fits test setups where PostgreSQL is required by MAAS but database operations are limited to evaluation work. The package is a specialized MAAS companion rather than a general-purpose PostgreSQL distribution, and it does not provide an intended focus on extra database services or production administration.
