NetXMS 6.1 gives operators a central view of network and infrastructure health, helping them detect events, examine performance, and respond to problems across an entire IT environment. This desktop client connects to a NetXMS 6.1.x server and covers network devices through the business application layer. It combines event management, alerting, reporting, graphing, and performance monitoring in one modular system designed to scale across varied environments.

The platform can discover devices automatically, generate maps, assign monitoring zones, and present a hybrid view of network resources. Flexible thresholds, custom scripting, and APIs support tailored actions for projects ranging from application and server monitoring to petrol-pipe or ATM management. Multi-tenant operation, metric-level access controls, and authenticated, encrypted communications support distributed networks used on premises or remotely.

NetXMS suits enterprises, education, banks, telecommunications companies, MSPs, ISPs, WISPs, production lines, and operators of payment switches. Raden Solutions, SIA develops the open-source software under the GNU General Public License version 2; the Enterprise edition also offers commercial support and services. It runs on Linux, and the client is intended to work with a corresponding NetXMS 6.1.x server. The current 6.1.4 release improves migration performance from 5.x and earlier versions to 6.1 and fixes a stacked-chart drawing problem that could leave the client unresponsive.
