Nori2019.08

Nori lets Android users connect to online booru-style image archives and browse their collections through tags. By searching with chosen tags, users can navigate large image libraries according to subjects, characters, or other descriptors attached to the archive content. It presents the matching images for direct viewing, making it useful for exploring visually detailed collections rather than relying on a general-purpose media library.

The app is designed for quick browsing across these archive sources, so users can move through results and inspect images with little delay. The archives commonly provide high-quality images, however, and Nori’s browsing speed does not reduce the data needed to retrieve them. Extended browsing can therefore consume substantial mobile or wireless data, particularly when viewing many detailed images.

Nori suits Android users who regularly explore tag-organized image archives from a phone or tablet. The Nori_Android Twitter account is not actively monitored for support; users are directed to open a GitHub issue or join the Nori Discord server instead. The current 2019.08 release supports Android 4.1 and later and uses Universal architecture.
