openvino-ai-plugins-gimp3.3.0

Add AI-assisted image generation, enlargement, and region-aware editing to GIMP with openvino-ai-plugins-gimp. The plugin collection brings Stable Diffusion, super resolution, and semantic segmentation into the image editor, addressing tasks that otherwise require separate AI tools or manual pixel work. Artists can use it to create or alter imagery, recover more detail from smaller source images, and identify or work with distinct regions of a picture.

Stable Diffusion supplies the generative capability, while super resolution processes an image to increase its apparent detail and semantic segmentation analyzes content by meaningful regions. These functions are exposed as GIMP plugins, so they fit into an existing GIMP editing workflow rather than operating as an unrelated standalone editor. The accompanying application included in the snap downloads models that the Stable Diffusion plugin can use.

Execution is supported on Intel CPU, NPU, or GPU devices, giving installations a choice among those processing targets. It is intended for GIMP artists, image editors, and technical users handling creative mock-ups, image enhancement, or region-based edits; the software is open-source and runs on Linux.
